OMV Gas Storage Germany GmbH is a competent and reliable service provider and operates a salt cavern storage in Northwestern Germany.

The Storage facility Etzel ESE in Northwestern Germany is connected to the Dutch gas network GTS (Gas Transport Services) and to the German market area THE (Trading Hub Europe) via NETRA (North German Natural Gas Transversal).
The direct access to the Dutch virtual gas trading point TTF is provided via the 60 km long dedicated storage connection line BEP (Bunde-Etzel-Pipeline).
The working gas volume of the new cavern storage facility offered by OMV is about 5 TWh (about 400 million cubic meters).
