Location of OMV storage facilities in Germany

Etzel is situated in North-West Germany and is connected to both the Netherlands gas network (GTS – Gas Transport Services) and the THE (Trading Hub Europe) market area via the German NETRA Pipeline (North German Natural Gas Transversal).

The working gas volume of the new cavern storage facility offered by OMV is about 5 TWh (about 400 million cubic meters).
